The Visqueen IAB Radon Barrier Membrane - Red is an Irish Agrément Board (IAB) approved LDPE, non reinforced membrane for protection against the ingress of harmful radon gases. This ground gas protection can be used in concrete floors not subject to hydro-static pressure. This membrane is also CE approved. It is long lasting, durable, strong, and resistant to tears and punctures. It can be installed as an over-site membrane, either between a sand blinded hardcore bed (50mm of sand minimum) and the base concrete, or layered on top of high-density insulation (25kg/m3) with a concrete screed layered over it.
